Old wives & Chinese people predicting your gender!

21 Weeks

21 today! 21 today! Happy 21st Babe :)
Ok, well everyone knows there's millons of old wives tales out there - well it's time to test some and we'll look back here after you arrive and see whether the old wives should be trusted! I don't quite know how on earth some of these could possibly imply a boy or a girl, but here we go!

It's a BOY if:
You didn't experience morning sickness in early pregnancy - TRUE
Your baby's heart rate is less than 140beats per minute - FALSE (at both scans, it was 160+)
Your belly looks like a basketball - MAYBE A SMAL ONE THAT NEEDS A TOP UP WITH AIR
You are craving salty or sour foods - NOT PARTICULARLY
Your feet are colder than before pregnancy - NO, THEY ARE ALWAYS COLD
The hair on your legs has grown faster during pregnancy - NO
Your pillow faces north when you sleep - NO
Dad to be is gaining weight, right along with you- NO, NOT YET
Pregnancy has you looking better than ever - SAME, SAME
Your urine is bright yellow in colour - NO
Your nose is spreading - NO (please tell me if it starts to!)
You hang your wedding ring over your belly, and it moves in circles - NO
You add your age at the time of conception & the number for the month you conceived, and the number you get is even- NO, but not 100% sure of the month!

It's a GIRL if:
You had morning sickness early in pregnancy - FALSE
Your baby's heart rate is at least 140beats per minute - TRUE (at both scans, it was 160+)
You are carrying high - NOT YET
Your belly looks like a watermelon - NUP, but then it looks like a basketball as much as it looks like a watermelon!
You are craving sweets - I went off them in the 1st trimester, but I have got my groove back now!

You don't look quite as good as normal during pregnancy - GEEZ, I DON'T LOOK TOO BAD I HOPE
Your face breaks out more than usual - YES! YES! YES!
Your breats have really blossomed - WHY THANKYOU!
Your pillow faces south when you sleep - YES
Your urine is dull yellow in colour - I SUPPOSE IT IS
You hang your wedding ring over your belly, and it moves from side to side - YES
You add your age at the time of conception & the number for the month you conceived, and the number you get is odd - YES, BUT CAN"T CONFIRM IT!

Okay, well that blows everyone's prediction of a boy our the window - looks like the old wives say we are having a girl! We'll just have to wait and see, but in the meantime, it's fun guessing!
